Machine operator

As a machine operator, you will have an in-depth understanding of the machines you work with. Alongside your colleagues, you will be responsible for preparing products for packaging. You will handle minor technical issues independently, so some technical knowledge or affinity is required. Given that Bison International manages 'slow moving' products, production volumes are relatively low. Consequently, you will frequently switch between machines, making your role as a machine operator both varied and dynamic.

Your key responsibilities:

• Setting up packaging materials

• Configuring machines for filling and packaging

• Inspecting filled products

• Creating labels for packaging

• Cleaning machines

• Assembling and disassembling machines

• Troubleshooting and reporting issues

• Providing instructions to packing colleagues

Work Shifts:

• Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 05:20 - 14:30 / Friday, 05:20 - 12:00

• Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:20 - 23:30 / Friday, 12:00 - 18:00

This schedule means you will start your weekend early every week!

Wat wij jou bieden:

As a machine operator, you will receive:

• A starting salary ranging from €2.599,- to €4.000,- per month (excluding shift allowance).

• A shift allowance of 14.2%.

• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre.

• 8.33% vacation allowance.

• Choice of weekly or four-weekly payments.

• 25 vacation days plus 6 additional days off per year.

Wat vragen wij van je:

• An MBO degree in a technical field.

• Experience in a similar role or in a production environment.

• Own transportation or residence near Goes.

• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
