Machine operator

As a machine operator, you will have a thorough knowledge of the machines you operate. Together with your team, you will be in charge of getting products ready for packaging. You'll be expected to resolve minor technical issues on your own, so a certain level of technical expertise or interest is essential. Since Bison International deals with 'slow moving' products, production quantities are relatively small. This means you will often be adjusting machines, making your role as an operator diverse and engaging.Your main duties include:

• Preparing packaging materials.

• Setting up machines for filling and packagingInspecting finished products.

• Creating labels for packaging.

• Cleaning and maintaining machines.

• Assembling and disassembling equipment.

• Troubleshooting and reporting technical problems.

• Providing guidance to packing team members.

Shift Schedule:

Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 05:20 - 14:30 / Friday, 05:20 - 12:00

Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:20 - 23:30 / Friday, 12:00 - 18:00

This shift pattern allows you to start your weekend early each week!

Wat wij jou bieden:

• A starting salary ranging from €2.599,- to €4.000,- per month (excluding shift allowance).

• A shift allowance of 14.2%.

• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre.

• 8.33% vacation allowance.

• Choice of weekly or four-weekly payments.

• 25 vacation days plus 6 additional days off per year.

Wat vragen wij van je:

• An MBO degree in a technical field.

• Experience in a similar role or in a production environment.

• Own transportation or residence near Goes.

• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
