Junior operator

As a machine operator, you have a deep understanding of the machines you work with. Alongside your team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that products are ready for packaging. You'll handle minor technical problems independently, so a basic level of technical knowledge or interest is required. Because Bison International focuses on 'slow moving' products, production runs are smaller in volume. This means you'll spend much of your time switching between machines, making your role both dynamic and diverse.As a machine operator, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Preparing packaging materials.

• Configuring machines for filling and packaging.

• Inspecting the final product.

• Creating labels for the packaging.

• Cleaning and maintaining the machines.

• Assembling and dismantling equipment.

• Handling and/or reporting any technical issues.

• Giving instructions to the packing team.

Your shift schedule will be:

Early shift: Monday to Thursday, 05:20 - 14:30 / Friday, 05:20 - 12:00

Late shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:20 - 23:30 / Friday, 12:00 - 18:00

This schedule means you'll enjoy an early start to the weekend every week!

• A starting salary ranging from €2.599,- to €4.000,- per month (excluding shift allowance).

• A shift allowance of 14.2%.

• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre.

• 8.33% vacation allowance.

• Choice of weekly or four-weekly payments.

• 25 vacation days plus 6 additional days off per year.

Wat vragen wij van je:

• An MBO degree in a technical field.

• Experience in a similar role or in a production environment.

• Own transportation or residence near Goes.

• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
