As an order picker at Royal FloraHolland, you are an important link in the logistical process of the flower auction. Every morning, thousands of flowers and plants are sold here from all over the world. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that these flowers and plants go to the right customers. You drive a small electric truck and you wear a headset. Through the headset, you receive instructions, so you know exactly where to go and how many orders you need to collect or drop off.

The working day starts at 06.00 in the morning with a day start from the team leaders. Here you will hear what your tasks are for the day, how busy it is and what today's forecast is. The end time varies every day, because it depends on how busy it is. On average, you will be finished between 10.00 and 13.00. With a 5-day working week, you will end up with around of 20-25 hours per week. There is work for 5 days from Monday until Friday and the minimum amount of working days is 2 days per week.

Before you start working at the flower auction, you will get 2 paid training days. You learn everything about the logistic process, how the headset works and how to drive the electric truck.

Royal FloraHolland is the largest flower auction in the world and has been connecting buyers and growers of flowers and plants for over 100 years. We can be found at 3 locations, namely Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg. If you apply for this vacancy, you apply for a spot in Aalsmeer.

Actief Werkt! has an office at the flower auction. Every day (Monday - Friday) we are available from 06.00 until 14.00 to answer all your questions!

• A starting salary of €15.43 per hour or an all-in salary of €17.06 per hour

?Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometre from 5 km one way

• Full reimbursement of your public transport pass for more than 4 working days per week

• Weekly payment on Tuesday
