Packing Operator

Are you technically skilled and ready for a new challenge? Become an Operator in our packaging department in the 3-shift system! You will ensure that the machines run optimally and contribute to packaging the most delicious stroopwafels. You will work in a friendly team and enjoy attractive shift allowances!

Stroopwafels are an iconic Dutch product that we can be proud of. They are now enjoyed and exported worldwide.

As a Packaging Operator in our factory in Moordrecht, you play a crucial role in the packaging process. You will precisely adjust machines such as the flow packers, the robot, and the chocolate machine, ensuring everything runs smoothly. In case of malfunctions, you will troubleshoot technical issues and report deviations to the line supervisor or technical service team.

Additionally, you will keep track of production data, register malfunctions, and document solutions. You will actively contribute to improvement projects and quality control while following HACCP guidelines and safety regulations.

You will work with a modern, largely automated production line.

Workdays and Hours:
You will work in the 3-shift system from Monday to Friday.
Note: The night shift starts on Sunday evening! You will rotate shifts weekly (day, evening, or night).

Biscuit International is a European market leader in biscuits, toast, and breakfast products. You will be working at the stroopwafel factory in Moordrecht, where various types of stroopwafels are produced: standard, mini, chocolate-coated, and even organic.

Wat wij jou bieden:

• A salary starting from €15.91 gross per hour (including ADV allowance). With proven experience, this can increase to €17.12;
• Shift allowance: After 6:00 PM, you receive 38% extra, meaning you earn €21.10 gross per hour!;
• Holiday pay;
• 25 vacation days with a full-time contract;
• Weekly payout on Tuesdays;
• Travel allowance from 5 km one way, at €0.23 per kilometer;

Wat vragen wij van je:

• Good knowledge of Dutch or English;
• You have an MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably with a technical background;
• You have 1 to 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or Operator;
• Or you have a technical education and an affinity with food production;
• You live near Moordrecht, Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, Ridderkerk, or Alphen aan den Rijn.
