Wood Operator

As a wood operator, you perform woodworking activities using technical drawings and dimensional drawings. You will work with a variety of tools such as panel saws, planers and crosscut saws. The wood department of this company is located in Eindhoven. It is a job in 2 shifts, so one week you will work from 06.00 until 15.00 and the other week you will work from 15.00 until 24.00. Your main tasks will be.

• Machining wood and sheet metal using tools and machines.

• Reading and understanding technical drawings.

• Identify and correct any defects.

• A salary of € 17,16 per hour with 18% shift allowance included.

• 25 holidays and 8.33% holiday allowance.

• Travel allowance from 10 kilometres.

• 40 hours of work in 2 shifts.

Wat vragen wij van je:

As a wood operator, it is important that you know how to work according to safety instructions. Furthermore:

• You can read and understand technical and dimensional drawings.

• A minimum of a VMBO thinking level.

• You have perfect command of the Dutch or English language.

• It is a great plus if you possess a reachtruck and forklift certificate or if you are willing to obtain these.
