Warehouse Job at Royal FloraHolland

Your day starts at 06:00 AM. You meet with your colleagues for a quick briefing where the day's schedule, expected finish time (between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM), areas for improvement, and safety procedures are discussed. After the briefing, you'll be ready to begin.

You'll grab your terminal and hop on your electric tug. Your first order will appear, and you'll start by scanning the container with flowers or plants. You then attach the container to your tug and follow the instructions you receive through your terminal or headset.

You'll work in two different departments:

• In the plants department, you will use a terminal.
• In the flowers department, you will receive instructions through a headset.

Your primary task is to move the flowers and plants to the correct locations within the auction. Once you reach the destination, you'll place the cart in position and scan the barcode on the floor. Afterward, you'll check that the number of flower or plant pots matches the order. If everything checks out, it's time for your first break to catch up with your colleagues!

At the end of your shift, you'll clock out and head home with a sense of accomplishment.

Actief Werkt! has an office at the flower auction, right next to the work floor. This makes it easy to stop by for a chat or if you have any questions. We are available from Monday to Friday to assist you!

Wat wij jou bieden:

• A starting salary of €16.04 gross per hour, or an all-in salary of €17.73 gross per hour
• A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for a one-way commute of more than 5 km
• Full reimbursement of your public transport subscription if you work more than 4 days a week

Wat vragen wij van je:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
• You are at least 1.65 meters tall
• You speak either English or Dutch
• A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be required as part of the application process
• You are available for at least two days per week
