• Do you love flowers and plants and enjoy starting your day early? Then the role of logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland is perfect for you!

Through Actief Werkt!, you can start working at our largest location in Aalsmeer - an impressive site the size of 200 football fields! You'll be joining a unique company that has been a vital link between growers and buyers for over a century.

• What will you be doing?

As a logistics employee, you'll drive an electric tug through the vast auction hall with a cart full of flowers or plants behind you. It's your job to ensure each cart reaches the correct spot in the distribution center - every cart is designated for a specific customer. Using your headset or scanner, you'll receive clear instructions on where to go and what to deliver. Thanks to your efforts, every order arrives accurately and on time.

• How your day starts

At 06:00, you arrive on-site and start your morning with a cup of coffee or tea.

Next, you put on your work shoes (we'll provide those!), grab your headset or scanner, and hop on your electric tug.

Then, you check in with your team leader for the daily briefing: you'll hear how many carts need to be processed and the estimated finish time.

Your workday usually ends between 10:00 and 13:00 giving you the rest of the afternoon free!

If you work five mornings a week, you'll average between 15 and 25 hours per week. You always start at 06:00 and are often done before lunch.

• You are at least 18 years old
• You speak Dutch and/or English
• You're comfortable starting early - from 6:00 AM
• You are at least 1.65 meters tall (for safety reasons on the work floor)
