What are you going to do?

Last October we opened a new HUB in Eindhoven where packages and pallets are redistributed. The packages are being sorted very quickly so we can fill up the trucks in the speed of a second. These packages and pallets are being transported all the way around Europe.

As a logistics employee at DHL you are responsible for this process. It has to go flawless. You are responsible for loading and unloading the trucks, sorting the in and out coming goods and setting up and dismantling the containers. Important is your accurate way of working and that you like to role on your sleeves. You and your team are responsible for the entire process in the warehouse.

• Flexibility and working shifts (also at night) are not a problem
• You like doing physical work and don't step back for a challenge
• You can ask the city hall for a certificate of conduct
• You speak Dutch OR English
• You live in the area of Eindhoven

Working hours and services

• The working days are Monday till Saturday
• We work in shifts, which is not a problem for you
• The morning/afternoon shift starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM
• The afternoon/evening shift starts at 1:45 PM and ends at 10:15 PM
• Evening/night shift starts at 12:00 PM and ends at 6:30 AM
• The Saturday shift starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM
• Your effort is being rewarded by extra allowances:
  
  - Work between 8:00 PM and 00:00 AM is rewarded by 125%
  
  - Work between 00.00 AM and 06:00 AM is rewarded by 130%
  
  - Work on the weekend is rewarded by 150%

What we offer

• Your salary will start at EUR2.088 gross (excl. allowances) per month. The salary is based on 40 hours, but there will also be extra allowances. Your total monthly salary (on average) will look like this:
  
  - EUR2.088 gross salary per month based on 40 hours (EUR12 gross per hour)
  
  - An extra allowance with an average of 15%  extra for the evening shifts and night shifts. The average extra allowance is around EUR313 gross per month. 
  
  - The total average salary is EUR2.401 gross ,including extra allowances, per month (EUR13,80 gross per hour). This can change each month, depending on which shift you'll work.
• Do you have a forklift certificate? Then your salary will start at EUR2.150 gross (excl. allowances) per month (EUR12,36 gross per hour). The salary is based on 40 hours, but there will also be extra allowances. Your total monthly salary (on average) will look like this:
  
  - EUR2.150 gross salary per month based on 40 hours
  
  - An extra allowance with an average of 15%  extra for the evening shifts and night shifts. The average extra allowance is around EUR323 gross per month. 
  
  - The total average salary is EUR2.473 gross, including extra allowances, per month (EUR14,22 gross per hour). This can change each month, depending on which shift you'll work.
• Cao à la carte: you can choose for 13 extra vacation days or 6,24% extra salary;
• 23 days off (based on 40 hours);
• Your contract at DHL Express is 32-36 hours a week (with a possibility of a permanent contract if functioning well);
• Travelling expenses per km up to 30 km (one way travels);
• Participation in the collective health insurance.
