Senior Digital Project Leader

You have solid experience in how to manage complex projects in a global digital environment and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. You are excellent in advising and building trustful relationships with your stakeholders as well as coach both other project leaders and project teams, reviewing projects and seeing the bigger picture.

We believe you come with

- Formal qualifications in Project Management and 8+ years of experience in leading projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior
business leaders and digital leadership
- Successful track record of managing business change
- Ability to coordinate and direct activities to help achieve project objectives and to support long-term business
objective
- Sound judgment skills to make timely and effective decisions
- Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of digital as an integrated part of the
business
- A university degree and the possibility to commute to one of our offices in Malmö, Helsingborg or Amsterdam

You will be leading and driving projects to deliver business value. You will also support and coach digital project office team members and contribute to common ways of working. You help drive development initiatives in the team as well as on the digital project office (DPO) level.

As part of the job, you will be:

- Responsible for planning, managing and delivering assigned projects, including time, cost, scope and quality
with a focus on maximized business value overall and a clear business case
- Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks to keep projects on track and create awareness on time in case of
issues
- Report to and communicate with DPO leadership, steering group and other stakeholders to manage
expectations and support prioritization s
- Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and the line organization
- Drive continuous improvement of quality and performance in assigned projects to ensure targets are met
- Identify and communicate resource needs, within assigned projects, to the DPO leadership to secure a better
utilization of team resources
- Work in compliance with our Project Framework e.g. in planning, execution and quality assurance processes,
steering and follow-up in order to promote best practices and ensure a common high-quality output
- Provide support and guidance to assist in the development of projects and junior project leaders
