As an order picker at Royal FloraHolland, you will be working at the flower auction, where you will use an electric tug to move flowers and plants. The products are placed on carts, which you will transport using either a headset or a terminal, depending on the department you are assigned to.Please note: You will be randomly assigned to different departments, which means you may also be placed in the cold storage area. The cold storage is, of course, colder, but we will provide you with a warm jacket and gloves so you can work comfortably. The work process is the same as regular order picking, but keep in mind that you'll be working in a colder environment. Please be aware of this.
In the flower department, you will use a headset that is trained to recognize your voice and respond to your commands. In the plant department, the process is similar, but you will work with a terminal that gives you instructions on which carts to move. Once you have moved the carts to the designated location, you will check to ensure everything is correct.
Your workday starts every morning at 06:00 AM. After clocking in, your day begins with a team briefing, where your team leader will go over the most important points of the day, such as safety and improvement updates. After that, you can check the screen to see what time your workday will end (between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM) and how many carts you need to process that day. Then, you put on your headset and hop on your electric tug. Using the headset or terminal, you will receive clear instructions on where to go and where to deliver the carts. You follow the numbers in the hall to pick up your assigned carts.

Wat vragen wij van je:
