What does your day look like as a logistics employee?You start working early while the rest of the world is still asleep. Get ready for your workday: you begin at 06:00 AM. Before you start, you participate in the daily briefing where the end time is discussed. The end time is between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. During the briefing, the focus points and any special notes from the previous days are also discussed. After the briefing, you walk to your electric tug vehicle.
We are recruiting for two departments: flowers and plants.
In the flowers department, we work with a voice system. This is a headset that is trained to recognize your voice. Through the headset, you receive instructions about where you need to be in the warehouse.
In the plants department, you work with a terminal. Based on the terminal, you can see where you need to be in the warehouse. You will be randomly assigned to one of these departments.
Because the flower auction Royal FloraHolland is so large, we have numbers throughout the warehouse so you know where you need to be. On your electric tug, you follow the instructions from your headset or terminal. You connect your tug to the container and scan the barcode attached to your container. Then you move the container to the correct location. Once you arrive at the location, you scan the barcode on the floor of the location. And so the process continues.
Availability
We are looking for a candidate who is available at least 3 days per week. Mondays and Fridays are mandatory.
This is a part-time position. The hours you work weekly are 20-25 hours per week based on 5 days. You are free on weekends.
You will receive two training days. These take place on Tuesdays for Dutch-speaking candidates and Thursdays for English-speaking candidates.

Royal FloraHolland has existed since 1910 and is the largest flower auction in the world. 43 million flowers and 5 million plants are sold every week. Fortunately, there is enough space for this, the building where you will be working is 200 football fields in size.

- A nice starting salary of €16.04 gross per hour or an all-in salary of €17.73 gross per hour
- A travel allowance of €0.23 cents per kilometre from 5 kilometres or a full reimbursement of a public transport subscription with a minimum working week of 4 days
