As a CNC Operator in the saw department, you are responsible for the final step in the production process: sawing and milling custom-made sandwich panels before they are delivered to customers. You will operate a brand-new 5-axis CNC machine capable of machining panels up to 17 x 3.5 meters with an accuracy of 0.1 mm.You will work in a small team of three CNC operators, with each operator independently running their own machine. Your work directly ensures that every product meets the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and setting up the CNC machine
- Correctly positioning panels on the CNC bed
- Entering production data and selecting the appropriate programs
- Monitoring the machining process by observing and listening
- Inspecting product quality and making adjustments when necessary
- Analyzing tool performance and replacing tools when required
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Operating an overhead crane to safely move sandwich panels
