Are you looking for a cleaning job at Schiphol Airport? A position where you can work part-time or full-time and earn up to €23.28 gross per hour, with the possibility of receiving a permanent contract if you perform well.Together with a friendly team, you will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Keeping the toilets clean, tidy, and fresh—both before and after security, including ladies’, men’s, and accessible restrooms
- Emptying trash bins to ensure all areas look neat and well-maintained
- Mopping and maintaining floors
- Various other cleaning duties that make your workday active and diverse
- In addition, you are the face of Schiphol and play an important role as a host or hostess. Passengers may ask you for help or information, and you are
- expected to assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
As a cleaner, you can work any day of the week, divided across three shifts:
Morning: 06:30 – 14:30
Afternoon: 14:15 – 22:15
Night: 22:30 – 06:30 (only possible once you are fully trained)

You will be working through Actief Werkt! in collaboration with our client at Schiphol Airport. Together, you ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming airport where every traveler begins their vacation with a fresh start.
Wat wij jou bieden
A base salary of €15.52 gross per hour (from age 21), increasing up to €23.28 per hour
Allowances: 130% on weekday evenings (last 45 minutes of your shift) and nights ,and 150% on weekends
Weekly payment on Tuesdays or every 4 weeks
Travel allowance: €0.14 per km (max. €8.40 per day) or 100% reimbursement of public transport costs with a subscription for commuting
8.33% holiday pay 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment)
Possibility of a permanent contract with good performance

Wat wij van jou vragen
- You speak good Dutch and/or English
- You are available at least 3 days per week
- You have lived in the Netherlands for at least 8 years, due to the requirements for obtaining your Schiphol pass
