Management change at TenneT: Urban Keussen leaves the company

Urban Keussen, since 2014 Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of TenneT Holding B.V and Chairman of the Management Board of the German subsidiary TenneT TSO GmbH, has decided to leave the Dutch-German transmission system operator. On March 1, 2018, Keussen will join the board of the energy company EWE AG, where he will be responsible for the technology department. TenneT's Supervisory Board and Executive Board express their regret over his decision and thank him for his successful contribution. The Supervisory Board will take up Urban Keussens succession promptly.
Urban Keussen started his career with PreussenElektra and then took up the role of Managing Director at E.ON NETZ and Senior Vice President Technology & Innovation at E.ON SE in Düsseldorf until 2014 when he joined TenneT. Here he forms the Management Board of TenneT TSO GmbH together with Lex Hartman. He is also part of the Executive Board of TenneT Holding BV, which includes Mel Kroon (Chief Executive Officer, CEO), Ben Voorhorst (Operations Director, COO), Otto Jager (CFO), Lex Hartman (Chief Development Officer, CDO) and Wilfried Breuer (Managing Director Offshore).
